Dear Congressman Kind,
Is it true that you voted for H.R. 992 which amended the part of Dodd Frank relating to “Federal assistance for swaps entities.”
Is it true that this amends Dodd frank in such a way that taxpayers will no longer be protected from bailing out certain of risky bank derivative swap deals types the banks are losing money on?
What is/were your reason(s) for voting for this amendment?

Congressman Kind, Is it true you also voted for the Retail Investor Protection Act?
Is it true that this bill delays a new Department of Labor rule that would prevent financial advisers from charging exorbitant fees to American workers 401(K) plans and IRAs.
Is it true that your vote delays the Labor Department from broadening the definition of a “fiduciary” to cover all financial advisers who offer individual investment advice for a fee?
Is it true that you voted to delay the rule that all fiduciaries would be legally required to work in the best interest of their clients?
Why did you vote the way you did?

Is it true that the Third Way is a Wall street think tank that’s position is to roll back Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid?
Do you agree with Third Way’s support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a job-killing “free trade” deal that also gives corporations and the nationals of other countries’ unprecedented control of U.S. regulations and courts?
Do you agree that it’s “soaking the rich” to raise the top marginal tax rate for billionaires to 49.5 percent (it was 93 percent under Eisenhower), or that increasing taxes for the wealthy is a “purely ideological fix“?
Do you support Third Way’s pro-fracking and pro-nuclear industry positions?

Also:
Please do your duty and provide the treaty oversight congress is granted by opposing the fast tract of the TPP. Slow the process down and hold public hearings on the matter.
Lastly:
The Ryan/Murray compromise budget includes a pay-cut to new federal employees. This pay-cut is disguised as increased “new employee” retirement contributions. Devaluation of new hires labor means higher out of pocket expenses for workers. This short sighted pay-cut will take billions of dispensable away from the working class and continue to place downward pressure on wages and slow the economy. If you want to boost the economy give federal workers a raise.
